Imagine you are going through a phase where you are into watching Tom Hanks movies. You already watched Forrest Gump, Big, and Sleepless in Seattle but you don't know the title of any other movie. I created the MovieFinder app in my Interaction Design class to help people find movies by searching the name of an actor, actress, or director. The app takes the person's name and uses API calls to get movie and profile information. So, if you were to input Tom Hanks, you would get a list of all his movies. Each movie includes a picture of the movie cover along with the title, rating, and summary of the movie. Check out the video on the right to see the app in action.
